Luke Johnson

Luke Johnson is an experienced editor and reporter in the energy sector, currently serving as the Editor of Petroleum Intelligence Weekly at Energy Intelligence since October 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing high-level analysis with an international team. Prior roles at Energy Intelligence included Senior Technology Reporter, focusing on energy transition technologies, and Corporate Reporter, covering major services and the Gulf of Mexico. Previous experience includes Interim US Bureau Chief and Online Editor at Upstream, where content on upstream oil and gas was produced and edited. Earlier positions include Assistant to Editor at Straits Times and Writer/Copy Editor at China Daily. Luke Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Gustavus Adolphus College.
