Mark Woollard

Mark Woollard is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development and software engineering. Current role as Staff Engineer at Engine by Starling commenced in December 2024. Previously served as Head of Mobile, iOS at UrbanThings, leading the development of a suite of iOS applications. Prior to that, held the position of Principal Engineer at Newforma, managing a team of iOS developers, and was the Owner and CTO at Tap Tapas LLC, delivering innovative iOS applications. Early career included roles as Staff Software Engineer at Flexera Software, Owner of Mailgate Ltd, and various contract positions developing software for diverse applications. Woollard holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
