Competency Assessment Board at Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau

Stewart Hobbs is an established professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership. Since January 2017, Stewart has served as the Chair of the Competency Assessment Board at Engineering New Zealand: Te Ao Rangahau, overseeing Chartered Professional Engineer processes and moderating assessments. Additionally, Stewart holds the position of Club Captain at St Georges Rowing Club since 2013 and is the Owner of Proconsult, a firm specializing in structural and forensic engineering within the residential housing sector, active since February 2006. Stewart's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA from the University of Auckland and Massey University, alongside attendance at Auckland Grammar School from 1969 to 1973.
