Elisa Baroncini

Director elected from the list presented by the Ministry of the economy and finance. Born in Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) in 1966, she has been Eni Director since May 2023. She is a Professor of International Law at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, where she teaches International Law, International Trade and Investment Law, and International Law on Sustainable Development. Founder and Coordinator of DIEcon, the interest group on International Economic Law of the Italian Society of International Law (SIDI), she co-chaired the interest group on International Economic Law of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) in 2012-2022.
