Jorge Wallace Ruiz

Jorge Wallace Ruiz is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in product security evaluations across various industries, including automotive, industrial, IoT, and health devices. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Technical Leader at DEKRA Testing and Certification, S.A.U. since October 2017, Jorge has led the Cybersecurity Lab in Málaga and successfully obtained multiple accreditations, such as Amazon AVS Security Evaluation and Google Cloud Security Assessment. Jorge is an active contributor to several working groups like ENISA EUCS and OWASP, and possesses significant expertise in penetration testing, including web, mobile, and network applications, as well as source code analysis and reverse engineering. Prior roles include Director of Architecture and Security at Espacio Information Technology, Operations Manager at Avalora, and IT Risk Assurance Audit Team Leader at Ernst & Young. Jorge holds a degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Databases from Universidad de Málaga.
