Carla Peralta

Carla Peralta is the current Director at Enlace Chicago. Carla has held this position since September of 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Information Technology at Aspira Inc. of Illinois from July 2014 to September 2020. In this role, they managed all aspects of technology across the organization, including network hardware, endpoint management, procurement, grant management, compliance, and technical training following ITIL standards.

Some of their key successes during their time at Aspira Inc. include successfully diagnosing and stabilizing network services, implementing documentation and training structures for all systems, creating a multi-tiered tech ticket system, and cultivating a team of technicians for optimum customer support. In addition, they were responsible for quality procurement and project management to keep services consistent for end users, resulting in year-over-year improvements to stakeholders.

Before their role at Aspira Inc., Peralta served as the Director of Technology at University of Chicago Woodlawn Charter School from August 2011 to June 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing and coordinating all instructional technology initiatives in accordance with the school’s educational goals. Carla also created and implemented professional development opportunities for staff on various technologies and applications.

Peralta began their professional career as a tutor at The Mac Tutor, Inc., where they worked from March 2010 to August 2011. In this role, they provided one-on-one tutoring services to students

Carla Peralta has a PMP from IIT in project management, an M.S. in computer science from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Latin American studies from the University of Chicago. Carla also has a high school diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory and a primary school diploma from Gerald Kanoon Magnet School. Carla is certified by Apple, Inc. as an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician and by Cisco as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Carla is also certified by CompUSA in Advanced Excel and by Apple. Inc. as an Apple Certified Support Professional 10.6.
