Obegi Elly

Obegi Elly is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in dispute resolution and tax law. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at ENS since September 2024, Obegi also contributes as an Assistant Editor for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog, focusing on Africa. Previous roles include Senior Associate at Oraro & Company Advocates and Dispute Resolution & Tax Lawyer at Anjarwalla & Khanna | ALN. Obegi began a career in tax dispute resolution and consulting at PwC Kenya, where positions included Senior Associate. Earlier experiences encompass roles as a lawyer at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews and various internships in legal and regulatory affairs. Obegi holds an Advocates Training Programme degree from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi, in addition to a CPA (K) in Accounting from Vision Institute of Professionals.
