Veronica Himmel

Veronica HIMMEL has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Corporate Counsel at EDB since December 2021. Prior to this role, Veronica worked as Corporate Attorney at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange from February 2018 to December 2021 and held the position of Vice President & Counsel at State Street from November 2013 to August 2017, focusing on Dodd-Frank recovery and resolution planning. Earlier experience includes serving as a Contract Attorney at Eckert Seamans, where engagement involved a pharmaceutical class action lawsuit defense, and as General Counsel and Data Privacy Officer at Star Alliance. Veronica began a legal career as Legal Counsel for Austrian Airlines, handling regulatory, industry, and government affairs from February 1998 to June 2002. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations and Spanish Literature from Suffolk University, complemented by studies at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
