Lala Rukh is a Doctoral Researcher at MaREI, University of Galway, focusing on energy demand practices and building retrofits. Rukh serves as a Climate Ambassador and Youth Advisory Panel Member for An Taisce, promoting climate action in Ireland. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Tutor at the University of Galway, responsibilities include record maintenance, grading, and conducting courses. Rukh holds the position of Future Energy Leader with the World Energy Council and acts as a Strategic Advisor for the MASS-Mehran Architecture Students' Society, facilitating workshops for architecture students in Pakistan. As the Founder and Director of Climate Action Pakistan, Rukh leads initiatives in climate education and engagement. Previous roles include Research Assistant with the Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Group, writer for YES-Europe's Future of Energy Report, Thematic Facilitator for the UN Environment Programme, and New Futures Fellow at Planet Reimagined.
