Kara Rubio, MPH, WELL AP, is an experienced professional in environmental health and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Tracking the Field Research Consultant at the Environmental Grantmakers Association, Kara focuses on data collection, analysis, and reporting within grant sectors related to energy, climate, biodiversity, and health. Previously, Kara worked as the BEA Fund Program Manager at Building Equity and Alignment for Environmental Justice, where the emphasis was on strengthening grassroots organizations through equitable grantmaking practices. As a Public Health in Philanthropy Fellow at The Pittsburgh Foundation, Kara collaborated with environmental justice organizations to address community-specific health issues.
