Eric Stoutenburg

Director, Energy Storage at Eolian

Eric Stoutenburg is an experienced professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Director of Energy Storage at Eolian since April 2022. Previously, Stoutenburg held the position of Chief Development Officer at Able Grid Energy Solutions from April 2018 to March 2022, and served as Vice President of Investments, Renewables and Storage at MAP Energy, LLC, alongside a role as Wind Energy Engineering Manager. Stoutenburg has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Stanford University in 2014 and as a researcher in the Civil and Environmental Engineering: Atmosphere and Energy Program from 2007 to 2012. Additional experience includes project engineering for submarine cables at Re Vision, a graduate internship analyzing wind power integration, and military service as an Infantry Captain in the US Army. Stoutenburg holds a Ph.D. in Renewable Energy Integration from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering & International Politics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
