Cary Baur

Cary Baur is an accomplished professional in the field of polymer technology and additive manufacturing, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Polymer Technology at EOS since November 2017, where expertise is applied in producing high-end solutions for industrial additive manufacturing. Previous leadership roles include Senior Leader in Additive Manufacturing at Arconic (April 2015 - November 2017) and Cofounder and CTO at Adaptive 3D Technologies (April 2014 - May 2015), focusing on engineering advanced polymer materials for aerospace applications. Earlier experience includes serving as Research Lead at the University of Texas at Dallas, where significant contributions were made in the development of nanocomposite polymer materials and earning research funding through collaboration. Baur's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Clemson University, a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Master's in Law from the University of Denver.
