Neil Bacon

Neil Bacon is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and innovation consulting. Currently serving as Associate Director of Innovation Consulting at EPAM Continuum since December 2016, Neil is responsible for managing a team of engineers, overseeing personal growth, performance reviews, and project management, particularly in the life sciences and medical devices sectors. Prior to this role, Neil worked as Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Bio-Rad, where leadership of a team developing advanced DNA sequencing instruments was a key responsibility. Neil's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Altitude, Inc., leading cross-functional teams in product design, and as a mechanical engineer at Teradyne, focusing on high-volume manufacturing processes. Neil holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
