Carlo M. Recto

Carlo M. Recto, CET, PEng, is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving at EPCOR since March 2010. In various managerial roles, Carlo has led engineering teams and projects related to City of Edmonton initiatives and franchise agreements, managing annual project budgets averaging $4 million. Responsibilities include conducting technical studies, developing standards and specifications, facilitating committee meetings, and performing forensic studies on equipment failures. Previous positions held at ENMAX involved overseeing substantial Underground Residential Distribution projects, while early career roles at Manitoba Hydro and Northern Alberta Institute of Technology focused on protection engineering and electronics education. Carlo holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and has additional qualifications in Project Management and Electronics Engineering Technology.
