Kelly Rodriques

Kelly Rodriques is an accomplished business executive with over two decades of experience in the financial industry. Kelly currently serves as an Executive Committee Member at Equiam, a position they have held since May of 2017. Prior to their current role, Kelly served as the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar First Bank from June 2015 to May 2017. During their tenure at Qatar First Bank, Kelly was responsible for overseeing the bank's operations and ensuring its compliance with all applicable regulations.

Kelly has also served as Managing Director of Middle East Capital Group from November 1995 to April 2000, during which time they were responsible for MECG's investments in the Middle East and North Africa region. In addition, Kelly served as Chief Executive Officer of Istithmar World from September 2013 to August 2014. During their time at Istithmar World, Kelly oversaw the company's global investment portfolio, which included assets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Kelly is also the founder of Blue Gate Capital Partners, a private equity firm that they founded in April 2011 and led until August 2013. In July 2006, Kelly founded Algebra Capital, a successful hedge fund that they led as Chairman and CEO until March 2011. Under Kelly's leadership, Algebra Capital became one of the largest hedge funds in the Middle East.

Kelly Rodriques has an MBA in finance and international business from NYU Stern School of Business, a master's degree in international and public affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and a bachelor's degree in economics and business from Rice University.
