Emmy Burgers

Emmy Burgers is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Gipsverbandmeester and nurse in the emergency department at HagaZiekenhuis since January 2024. Previously, Emmy has held various roles, including Gipsverbandmeester at LangeLand Ziekenhuis, where training was completed in HMC, as well as nursing positions in diverse fields such as internal medicine, oncology, neurology, and the stroke unit. Emmy also works as an instructor for BLS/AED and PBLS with the ERC European Resuscitation Council and participates in first aid courses and professional exercises. With a background that includes roles in surgical assistance, volunteer medical assistance for emergencies, and extensive experience in nursing since 2008, Emmy has cultivated a broad skill set in the medical field. Emmy obtained a nursing degree from id college Gouda between 2013 and 2015.
