Simone Ragland

Simone Ragland, LMSW, currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Erie Community College since September 2023. As a Co-Founder and CEO of Families Aimed Toward Excellence FATE since August 2019, Simone leads initiatives aimed at promoting excellence in family services. Simone also works as a Licensed Master Social Worker at Buffalo Urban League, a position held since May 2019. Additionally, Simone was the Executive Director of WNY STEM Hub from May 2020 to March 2024 and previously served as Program Director for the Science and Technology Entry Program from November 2011 to May 2020. Simone Ragland holds a Master of Social Work in Family and Community Services from the University at Buffalo School of Social Work, a Philanthropy & Fund Development Certificate from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Mental Health from SUNY Empire State College, completed from 2002 to 2004.
