Robert Virding

Robert Virding is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems architecture and programming, particularly in Erlang. Since October 2010, Robert has served as a Senior Systems Architect at Erlang Solutions Ltd. and has been the creator and language designer of Lisp Flavoured Erlang since 2007. Prior to these roles, Robert worked as a Systems Engineer at FMV from January 2002 to October 2010, and owned Bluetail, where activities included Erlang programming and hacking from June 1999 to August 2001. Between April 1984 and June 1999, Robert held multiple positions as a hacker, researcher, and Erlang developer at Ericsson Telecom. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stockholm University (1978-1983) and a Bachelor of Science from Uppsala University (1971-1977), along with studies at La Trobe University in 1970.
