Yunhai Qiao

Yunhai QIAO is an experienced IC Design Manager at Espressif Systems since July 2024, specializing in IP and SoC development. Prior to this role, Yunhai held various technical leadership positions, including Technical Manager at Dolphin Design, where oversight of a 10-engineer team focused on Processing IP development occurred. As Engineering Manager at Blackmagic Design, leadership of an IP development team for video products was executed, while at Xilinx, Yunhai managed teams for video connectivity IP development, serving as the engineering owner of multiple HDMI solution IPs. Earlier career roles included engineering positions at ST Electronics, FTDI Chip, Mtech Imaging Singapore, Lantiq Asia Pacific, Finisar, and Freesystems, demonstrating a strong background in RTL design, validation, and system architecture. Yunhai holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
