Alana Pogostin

Alana Pogostin, MUP, is a seasoned professional in urban strategy consulting currently serving as Proposal Manager and previously as Analyst at Karp Strategies since July 2022, after holding the role of Graduate Analyst from June 2021 to May 2022. At Karp Strategies, a WBE/DBE/SBE-certified firm, focused on data-driven solutions, Alana contributes to tailored client engagements. Prior experiences include serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the NYU Furman Center, where data analysis was pivotal, and as a Policy Development Intern at NYSERDA, where Alana enhanced New York State’s energy policy effectiveness. Earlier achievements include a notable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions at Skidmore College and collaboration on an interdisciplinary seminar on the Anthropocene. Alana Pogostin holds a Master’s in Urban Planning with a focus on Urban Analytics from NYU and a Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College.
