Austin Zang

Austin Zang is a computer science graduate from Pomona College, holding a Bachelor's degree obtained in May 2024. Currently, Austin serves as SDE I - Advanced Analytics at Esri, starting in August 2024. Previous roles include Founder and Student Instructor for the Peer Mentoring in Computer Science course at Pomona College, along with positions as a Teaching Assistant in Data Structures & Algorithms and a Research Assistant focused on ML Acceleration under Dr. Thomas Yeh. Austin also worked as an Instructional Technologist at Pomona ITS and held leadership roles such as President of P-ai at the Claremont Colleges. Internship experiences include Product Engineering Intern at Esri and Software Engineering Intern in NLP at Rockbook Partners, LLC. Education history also includes attendance at Harvard Business School for an MBA and St. Mark's School of Texas for a high school diploma.
