Rahul Rakshit

Rahul Rakshit is a Principal Product Engineer at Esri since September 2012, focusing on the ESRI Roads and Highways extension for Linear Referencing Systems and ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing. Responsibilities include enhancing workflows, creating user stories based on client requirements, and producing documentation for various tools. Prior to Esri, Rahul served as a Research Associate and Project Manager at Clark University, where skills in cartographic product development and spatial dataset management were honed. Earlier roles at RMSI, Spatial Decisions, and the National Natural Resources Information System included leadership in GIS projects, data integration, and thematic mapping. Rahul holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Geography from Clark University and advanced degrees in Geology.
