Alex Issa

Alex Issa, PhD, currently serves as a Lecturer in Geopolitics and Negotiation at ESSEC Business School and as a Research Fellow at the Institut Open Diplomacy, focusing on Middle Eastern politics and peacekeeping operations. Prior experience includes roles as Chief of Staff at ESCP Business School, where Alex was also an Admission Jury Member and Lecturer in International Relations, and as a Research Associate and Lecturer at Sciences Po. Alex has contributed to international security education at Université catholique de Lille and the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco), with a research background that includes significant roles at France Médias Monde and the Groupe de Recherche sur l'Action Multilatérale. Alex holds a PhD in Political Science - International Relations from Sciences Po and various degrees in related fields, including a Certificate in International Finance from ESCP Business School.
