Liem Nguyen

Liem Nguyen is currently serving as a Professor of Management Practice and Academic Director at ESSEC Business School since December 2023. Prior to this role, Liem was the Director of Strategy & Partnerships for the South West Europe region at DEKRA from 2019 to December 2023. Liem has extensive academic experience as an external lecturer and master thesis tutor at ESSEC Business School, EM Lyon Business School, and Dauphine PSL university between 2021 and 2023. Previous professional roles include Director of Strategy at Groupe Institut de Soudure, and various director-level positions at Bureau Veritas from 2006 to 2016, along with experience at LafargeHolcim and Arthur Andersen & Co. Liem holds multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, and MBAs from HEC Paris and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Liem is also associated with Join Lion since 2018.
