George Jackson

George Jackson, MBA, CMT, serves as a Board Member for the Advisory Board of the Information Systems program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since January 2011. Jackson has extensive experience in information technology leadership, currently holding the position of CTO and VP of Information Technology, Business Systems Solutions at Essent Guaranty, Inc. since December 2009. Previous roles include CIO and VP of Information Services & Technology at Triad Guaranty Insurance Corp from 1998 to December 2009, and various managerial positions at Unifi Manufacturing, Inc., ISSI - Information Systems Solutions International, Inc., Weston Solutions, Inc., and Aquidneck Data Corporation. Jackson holds an MBA from the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG, a BS in Management Information Systems from George Mason University, and an Associate of Science in Management Information Systems from Wytheville Community College.
