Karl Stratos

Karl Stratos has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Essential AI. Previously, Karl held positions as Assistant Professor at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, Research Assistant Professor at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC), and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York. In the industry, Karl worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Bloomberg LP. Karl holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Columbia University, obtained between 2011 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Rochester, completed from 2008 to 2011.
