Scott A. Estes

Mr. Estes has served as a director since 2018. Mr. Estes served as Executive Vice President—Chief Financial Officer of Welltower Inc., an NYSE-listed, S&P 500 constituent REIT focused on healthcare infrastructure, from January 2009 to October 2017. Mr. Estes served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Welltower from March 2006 to January 2009 and as Vice President of Finance of Welltower from April 2003 to March 2006. From January 2000 to April 2003, Mr. Estes served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst and Vice President with Deutsche Bank Securities, a financial services firm, with primary coverage of the Healthcare REIT and Healthcare Services industry sub-sectors. Previously, Mr. Estes served as a Vice President of Bank of America Securities from January 1998 through December 1999 and as an Associate Analyst and Vice President at Morgan Stanley from March 1994 through December 1997. Mr. Estes is a member of the board of trustees of JBG Smith Properties, an NYSE-listed REIT that owns, operates, invests in, and develops assets concentrated in leading urban infill submarkets and around Washington, DC, where he serves as the chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Estes received his B.A. in Economics in 1993 from The College of William and Mary.
