Norbert Gorny

Norbert Gorny currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at EssilorLuxottica, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this role, Norbert was with Essilor Group from November 2015 to June 2024, serving as the Chief Research and Development Officer and COO. Between 2012 and 2015, Norbert held the position of CEO at Satisloh. Norbert's experience at Essilor Group also includes serving as SVP Central Europe from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in the career, Norbert was EVP PÖRY at AFRY from 2010 to 2011, CEO of Carl Zeiss Vision from 2006 to 2009, Executive Board Member and EVP at ZEISS Group from 1998 to 2006, and a Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 1994 to 1998.
