Nicolas Janssens

Nicolas Janssens is an accomplished professional in the agri-commodity trading sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for ETG Commodities at Export Trading Group since October 2021. With extensive experience in operations and management roles, Nicolas has previously held the position of Global Head of Operations for Grains & Oilseeds at COFCO International, and has operated as an independent consultant in commodity trading. Early career highlights include COO for Grains, Oilseeds & Sugar at Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners, and establishing trading businesses in the Black Sea and EMENA regions at BTG Pactual Commodities. Nicolas's expertise also encompasses project management, having led significant business system implementations at Cargill and trading operations in South East Asia at AWB.
