Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to work across two sites based in Devon, on behalf of the Company. The projects will normally range from cable routes through to 132kV Sub-stations. However, from time to time, you will be required to assist in other areas of the business.
What will you be doing?
To develop and demonstrate a strong understanding civil construction for High Voltage Power Systems
Overseeing the delivery of projects from a site civil construction perspective
Liaising with the client on site
Managing civil sub-contractors
Reviewing civil contractors RAMS and associated Health and Safety documentation and ensuring that sub-contractors are working to company and Lloyds National Electricity Registration Scheme Standards.
Ensuring that sub-contractors are working and keeping to the issued Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Work Instructions and Designs
Ordering short lead time materials and plant through the accounts department
Liaising with sub-contractors, ensuring that all materials are ordered and on site for when sub-contractors works are programmed in
Carrying out site audits
Organising mobilisation of major projects
Deliver scheduled/unscheduled work to time and standard in accordance with company procedure and guidance
Maintain awareness of Ethical Power Connections’ Health & Safety policy and company policies and keep up to date on changes that impact your role
What are we looking for?
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
CSCS card
SMSTS
Extensive knowledge of CDM regs 2015
Full UK driving licence
Extensive knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Highly organised with an ability to prioritise
