Thomas Schürmann

Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced industrial and graphic designer with a strong background in product design and multimedia. Currently serving as an Industrial Designer at SDI Technologies, Inc., Thomas creates electronics and toys for youth markets, collaborating closely with licensors to adhere to established brand guidelines. Previously, Thomas worked at Nephros as a Production Designer, focusing on materials for medical filtration. Thomas also contributed to Matrix Mirrors as a Graphic and Web Designer, enhancing user experience through web redesigns. Additional roles include Multimedia Studio Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where expertise in large format printing was utilized, and a CAD Modeling Consultant at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, providing training in design software. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
