Alda M. Santana, MSSW, has extensive experience in program management and coordination within the fields of adolescent sexual and reproductive health and community health education. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator and Trainer at ETR since December 2018, Alda manages a statewide initiative and provides specialized training to state grantee staff. Prior roles include Program Manager at Every Body Texas, where oversight of 11 family planning grantees was conducted, and Program Coordinator for the City of Austin, responsible for implementing a sexual health project under the 1115 Waiver. Alda's background also includes budgeting and program development as the Healthy Living Manager at El Buen Samaritano and community health education at Planned Parenthood. Further experience in legislative support was gained as a Senior Legislative Aide for the Texas House of Representatives and as a Legislative and Research Fellow at Corporación Humanas. Alda holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin.
