Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is an experienced engineering and technical leader with a diverse background in software development and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at etrainu since May 2023, Michael has previously held roles such as Platform Development Lead at ELARA and Head of Development at Kidsoft. Michael's experience spans various responsibilities, including rearchitecting AWS Cloud infrastructure, creating custom Docker containers, and leading large-scale software projects. Prior roles include Technical Lead at Leisure Pools, where Michael managed development for international applications and websites, as well as Web Developer positions at Infolink IT and Xtreme ITC, focusing on client website design and development using WordPress and Drupal. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia from Griffith University and a High School Certificate from Robina State High School.
