Jacob Steendahl Nielsen is an experienced management consultant and entrepreneur, serving as the owner of Howbiz Management Consulting since September 2005, which encompasses several centers focused on Lean, digitalization, and RPA training. Nielsen holds the position of Director at the Center for Lean, promoting Lean and Six Sigma methodologies through professional training and consulting. As a Partner and Chairman of the Board at Genplast since October 2019, Nielsen supports the transformation of plastic waste into sustainable products. Additional roles include Lean Award reviewer for Shingo Institute, advisory board member for BL - Danmarks Almene Boliger, and consultant at Ledernes KompetenceCenter, where Nielsen focuses on leadership development. In academia, Nielsen has been involved as a censor for engineering education, freelance instructor, and previously as an associate professor at Aarhus University. Nielsen holds a Ph.D. in Operation Management and an M.Sc. in Organization and Strategy from Aalborg University, complemented by various qualifications in manufacturing excellence.
