Diogo Vicente

Diogo Vicente has extensive experience in the space sector, currently serving as the Mission Control Applications Team Leader at EUMETSAT since January 2018, overseeing mission control applications and focusing on spacecraft operational simulators and mission planning tools. Previously, Diogo held the role of Technical Officer at EUMETSAT, and worked as a Consultant at SCISYS, where responsibilities included managing maintenance contracts and supporting simulator usage. Earlier career roles include Senior Software Engineer at Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH, System Engineer at NAV PORTUGAL EPE, and Technical Manager at CRITICAL Software. Diogo holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Open University and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
