Jaap Onderwaater

Jaap Onderwaater is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in climate data and research. Currently serving as the Copernicus Reprocessing Coordinator and Climate Data Reprocessing Engineer at EUMETSAT since November 2018, Onderwaater previously worked as a Researcher at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research from September 2012 to July 2018. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in High Energy Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt (2012-2016), a Master's degree in Experimental Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics & Astronomy, all from Utrecht University. Additionally, Onderwaater has completed minors in Terrorism and Counterterrorism and Arabic Language at Utrecht University.
