Jon Lieber

Jon Lieber is a seasoned economic policy expert with extensive experience spanning various high-profile roles in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Eurasia Group since March 2020, Jon previously held positions as Principal at PwC and Practice Head for the United States at Eurasia Group. Jon's notable experience includes serving as Chief Economist at Thumbtack, where focus was on policy development and data research, and as a Policy Advisor to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, providing strategic guidance on key economic issues. Additional roles include serving at the White House's National Economic Council during the financial crisis, advising the Committee on Ways and Means, and conducting research at the American Enterprise Institute. Jon holds an MA in Economics and a BA in Philosophy from Tufts University, and has also studied at the University of Ghana.
