Walter MacHingauta

Walter Machingauta currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Metalkol, a role assumed in August 2019, overseeing finance operations. Prior to this, Machingauta was Finance Manager at Teichmann Resources Limited from December 2018 to July 2019, managing finance for a group of companies in the Democratic Republic of Congo across various sectors, including agriculture and exploration drilling. Machingauta spent several years at Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC, first as Financial Manager from June 2015 to November 2018, and previously as Finance Manager for DRC Exploration from June 2010 to May 2015, focusing on financial accounting, consolidations, tax, reporting, and strategy. Machingauta holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant through the ACCA, as well as possessing a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
