Paul Besson

Paul Besson has extensive experience in quantitative research and finance, currently serving as the Head of Quant Research at Euronext since February 2020, specializing in Market Microstructure and Behavioral Finance. Prior to Euronext, Besson held leadership roles at Kepler Cheuvreux, where responsibilities included Head of Quantitative Research and Deputy Head of Quantitative Research. Experience also includes leading Index Arbitrage at OFI Asset Management and Deputy Chief Investment Officer at ADI Alternative Investments. Earlier career stages featured positions at Commerzbank AG as Head of Convertible and Volatility Arbitrage, and as a Quantitative Analyst at Edmond de Rothschild. Besson's academic background includes master's degrees in Finance and Statistics from ENSAE Paris and Financial and Economic Modeling from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
