Muireann Geary

Muireann Geary is a Project Assistant at the European Commission as of November 2023, following a diverse career in various roles related to European policy and public affairs. Geary has worked as an Account Manager and Senior Account Executive at Vulcan Consulting, and as a Trainee in the office of a Member of the European Parliament at the European Parliament, where responsibilities included supporting MEP Andrews, conducting research, and preparing briefing notes. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Executive at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, a Policy Officer at the Embassy of Ireland in Rome, and several positions focused on research, events, and communications in the context of European politics. Educational qualifications include an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by a year of study at the Università di Pavia.
