Selene Sánchez

Selene Sánchez is a professional with extensive experience in scientific communication and project management. Currently serving as a Scientific Communication Specialist at the European Commission since February 2024, Selene previously held various roles at the European Food Safety Authority from March 2018 to August 2023, including Communication & Project Management Consultant and Digital Publishing Technical Assistant. From July 2014 to February 2018, Selene worked as a self-employed freelance translator, specializing in legal documents and annual reports. Additional experience includes a trainee position at the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and participation in humanitarian efforts with the Finnish Red Cross. Selene possesses a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Nottingham and degrees in translation from Universitat Jaume I and Université Paris Nanterre.
