Marina Ismaila

Marina Ismaila currently serves as a Senior Public Sector Banker at the European Investment Bank, focusing on financing public sector and infrastructure projects in the Baltic States since July 2017. Prior to this role, Marina held various positions at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from 2009 to July 2017, including Regional Head for SME Finance and Development in Ukraine, Moldova, and Belarus, as well as Senior and Principal Banker roles for Property and Tourism in Kiev and Zagreb respectively. Marina also worked at SEB Latvijas Unibanka as the Head of the Real Estate Department from December 2005 to March 2009, and at Vereinsbank Riga as a Corporate Banking Officer and Head of Real Estate from 1999 to 2005. Marina Ismaila earned an MA and M.Ed. in Public Administration from Columbia University between 1994 and 1996.
