Stefano Buricca

Stefano Buricca currently serves as a Senior Data and Reporting Governance Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB), a position held since October 2017, where responsibilities include supporting the Head of the Data Governance Team, leading the End User Computing Tools Governance Framework, and overseeing the reporting governance framework. Prior roles at EIB involved contributing to data governance and quality initiatives aligned with BCBS 239 principles and managing external consultant relations. Previously, Buricca worked at EY from January 2012 to September 2017 on various regulatory compliance projects associated with BCBS 239, including risk reporting data quality management and establishing data governance frameworks. Buricca holds a PhD from ASFOR (2012-2016) and two degrees from Università degli studi Roma TRE, a Master's in Financial Advisory Services (2009-2011) and a Laurea in Internal Audit and Business Valuation (2005-2008).
