Sokratis Kartelias

Sokratis Kartelias is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Department for Strategic Platforms at the European Medicines Agency since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sokratis held multiple senior positions at adidas from July 2013 to September 2021, including Director of Operational Excellence in Digital IT and Director of Product Management Agile, where responsibilities included overseeing consumer experience and leading product management teams. Sokratis also contributed as a Senior Business Consultant for the European Chemicals Agency and served in various project management roles at Tieto, notably managing the delivery of Nokia's flagship mobile device, the N9. Earlier career experiences included managing web solutions at Leet International Ltd. and leading multimedia teams at Internetq. Sokratis holds an MSc in Music IT from City, University of London, and a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Sussex.
