Viola MacOlic Sarinic

Scientific Adviser On Safety Of Medicines at European Medicines Agency

Viola Macolic Sarinic has extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and regulatory science, currently serving as a member of the WHO Advisory Committee on Safety of Medicinal Products since April 2020 and as a scientific adviser and PRAC Scientific Committee Lead at the European Medicines Agency since June 2019. Previously, Viola was an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Rijeka and worked as a Technical Officer for the WHO in essential medicines and health products. Viola has held multiple roles at the European Medicines Agency, including CHMP and PRAC member, and served as Executive Director of the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices in Croatia. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, Viola has contributed to both education and research in the field.
