Jesse van der Meulen

Jesse van der Meulen is an experienced professional currently serving as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant to Dr. Mohammed Chahim at the European Parliament since October 2024. Previously, Jesse held the position of Beleidsmedewerker at the Embassy of The Kingdom of The Netherlands in Saudi Arabia and provided support in political and economic affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additional roles include editorial work for the legal faculty magazine at Tilburg University and intern positions at the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal and various educational roles. Jesse is pursuing a Master of Laws in International and European Law at Tilburg University, alongside prior degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from VU Amsterdam and Leiden University, respectively.
