Mostafa ElKassed is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in payload management and satellite operations. Currently serving as a Resident Senior Payload Specialist at OneWeb since September 2019, ElKassed manages contractor relationships, oversees manufacturing processes, and supports payload design activities, ensuring timely resolutions to technical challenges and seamless coordination during high-rate satellite production. Previously, as a Senior Mission Operations Specialist at Maxar Technologies, ElKassed led in-orbit anomaly troubleshooting and managed sensitive payload repurposing projects, developing standard operational procedures and facilitating collaboration across various teams. Earlier experience at Space Systems Loral involved senior test verification engineering, where ElKassed executed high-profile satellite programs from design to launch while mentoring engineers, establishing testing schedules, and implementing innovative solutions to optimize workflow and efficiency in satellite communication systems.
