Lydia Ryan, M.Ed, currently serves as the Interim Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Chief of Schools, and Director of Schools for the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 since July 2022. Previously, Lydia held the position of School Principal at Chicago Academy High School from July 2015 to September 2021, where significant improvements in student performance, staff development, and community engagement were achieved. Lydia's earlier roles include Assistant Principal at Chicago Academy High School, Resident Principal at Nicholas Senn High School, and Administrative Intern at Boston Public Schools. Prior experience also includes teaching and leadership roles at KIPP Chicago and Steinmetz College Preparatory High School, along with a position as Program Director at OneGoal. Lydia holds a Master of Education in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from Purdue University.
