Aamer Charania

Aamer Charania serves as the Global Head of Applied Machine Learning at Best Buy, leading a Center of Excellence that provides AI and machine learning products and services across the enterprise. Additionally, Aamer is the President and Founder of Dallas AI, the largest nonprofit AI forum in North Texas, and plays an active role as a Board Member at SMU Big Data Advisory and as a Governing Body Co-Chair for the Dallas Chief Data & Analytics Officer Community at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Previous roles include Director of Machine Learning at Capital One and Director of Big Data & Machine Learning at Humana, where Aamer led significant AI and analytics initiatives. Aamer’s educational background includes degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business.
