Michael Irwin

Michael Irwin currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President of Technology Operations at Odyssey Logistics, where leadership of a 36-member hybrid global team focuses on unifying infrastructure and processes across 16 business units as part of the One Odyssey initiative. Additionally, Michael is a member of the Governing Body for Evanta, a Gartner Company. Prior to these roles, Michael spent over a decade at POLITICO, where responsibilities included directing a global hybrid team in Cybersecurity and IT operations, overseeing areas such as threat detection, incident response, and cloud migration. Michael’s career began with roles in various technical positions, including Network Engineer and IT Engineer. Academic credentials include a degree from The Ohio State University and an Advanced Studies Diploma from Oakton High School.
